The HSI index has an almost unchanged close on Tuesday due to the Chinese deflation.

The Chinese deflationary phase causes stocks in Hong Kong to end flat on Tuesday, as reported by Business Times. The reason for this has been weak demand caused by the US-Sino trade war.

The HSI moved up by 2.28 points to 26,683.68
The Shanghai Composite Index inched down 0.12 per cent i.e. by 3.54 points to 3,021.20.
The Shenzen Composite lost 0.11 per cent i.e. 1.90 points to 1,687.31.
