Risk Intelligence Hires Regional Director for Asia With Opening of New Office

Risk Intelligence has recently announced the appointment of Frank M. Andersen as Regional Director Asia and Managing Director for Risk Intelligence Singapore, with the launch of the new Singapore office.

An important part of the Risk Intelligence growth plan and strategy is to be closer to its clients and markets in Asia, as it has had clients in the region since 2007. According to the press release: “The new office will be responsible for expanding the business in Asia whilst enhancing customer relations for the growing client portfolio in the region.”

Speaking on this expansion in Singapore, Hans Tino Hansen, CEO of Risk Intelligence, said: “The Asian market represents a huge potential for the Risk Intelligence System MaRisk and PortRisk with a growing fleet of vessels controlled by owners and operators in Asia, particularly in Singapore, as well as ship managers operating third party fleets.”

“Furthermore, there is significant potential in the region for the new LandRisk product to be launched in October 2019. Existing as well as new clients will enjoy this important expansion of Risk Intelligence’s presence in Asia with an even better service resulting from having analysts and duty operation officers available in the local time zone. I am very pleased that we by this milestone continues to meet our goals set out in our growth plan.”

Frank M Andersen joins Risk Intelligence with a considerable amount of experience from over 30 years of experience working in senior positions for A.P. Moller – Maersk, Klaveness and Eniram in many different countries.
